Haflong Lake-
The Haflong lake is a sweddel expanse of beautiful waters. The lake is situated in heart of the Haflong town. Since the year 2015 , Assam government has under taken a project to clean and make beautify the lake. This lake is a really wonderful place for spending some quiet memorable time. The lake is fulled with different different colourful fishes. Fish lovers can go for angeling to this lake also it's offers to visitors some leisure water activities and also boating facilities. Other points of attraction around the lake area is the hanging- bridge which offers tourist to see the panoramic views of the lake.
Haflong hill-
The major attractions of Haflong is its green forests, serene environment and its majestic and stunning views of mountain at a distance. You can also enjoy the birds squeezing view on your eyes with winding stream.
Maibang-
Maibang is located about 47 kilometres from Haflong towards the southern end of maibang city. History behind the city was once a flourishing city and served as the capital of Dimasa Kingdom for Assam's kachri rulers between 1500s to 1700s and now this place is famous for the Ramachandi temple. If you admire architecture and find solace in divinity then you can visit the Ramachandi temple. There are many great waterfalls surrounding the city as well.
Jatinga-
This place is situated close to the Haflong ridge known as the valley of death for birds. The famous bird watching center of t the place is located just 9 Kilometres away from Haflong town. Jatinga offers you to watch many rare endorsed species of birds. Many said that birds fly to this place because they are attracted by the bright lights in the houses and somewhere get disoriented.but unable to fly away and killed by the hunters.
During the months of September to November many species of birds would die mysteriously in Jatinga specially in night time when fogs and mild shower set in. If you were seeking to nature from closer quarters then this is the ultimate place to enjoy it.
